BTLF : "La Banque de Titres de Langue Française" is an enterprise whose principal mission is to contribute to the improvement of marketing of French publishing products in Canada and Quebec. For that purpose, the BTLF has an important data bank which contains over 500,000 titles. This data bank is in constant evolution. Approximately 1,000 new titles are added to it each week. This bank of titles is published on the Internet via the Memento and Electre search engines. In 2004-2005, the BTLF undertook an important conversion of its systems in order to support the industry norm in matters of book related information exchange, which is ONIX 2.1. GPG-Solutions performed this work, realizing in favor of the BTLF, processing automatons capable of loading xml files consistent with the ONIX norm, as well as a converter and an online validation device for publishers and distributors.
A Windows application was also created to allow searches of titles according to different profiles, to consult their import history and to control the evolution of automatons at both input and output levels (see diagram below).

The applications and automatons were created with Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET and involve the following technologies : C#, ASP.NET, XML, XSD, XSLT, Web Services.
