For SkyServices: In collabroration with the firm Variem Technologies of Saint-Bruno, GPG-Solutions was retained to work out an important system of medical follow-up specialized for the transport of patients per plane. The system named “Flight” is entirely developed in .NET 2.0 and uses MS-SQL as backend. It uses mobile techniques which allow users to work online (connected to LAN) or offline on board of a plane. Flight also makes it possible to collect in real time data coming from external systems (vital signs, altitude, and others) for medical ends of follow-up and scientific research.

For Booknet Canada, we built an online conversion tool able to process an Excel template and convert it to a xml ONIX file. This tool is dedicated to Canadians publishers. The ONIX Online Converter was created using ASP.NET 2.0 and is running since summer 2006 at GPG-Solutions premises:

For BFI waste management at Lachenaie: GPG-solutions was selected to develop and host a dashboard of environmental data accessible by the Web (private access). The site in operation since May 2007 allows:
- To define electronic sensors of environmental data (weather, H2S, CH4, pressure and others) that the administrator of the site can lay out on site map;
- To plan levels of tolerances for each series of measurements and to define alarms (transmitted by SMS) in the event of going beyond;
- To define graphs using a generic tool of design allowing administrator to build his own graphs from environmental data;
- To produce graphs for a specific timeframe;
- To export environmental data to Excel files for a specific timeframe.
The system developed with ASP.NET 2.0 uses AJAX techniques to create more dynamic and user friendly experiment.

To satisfy Canadian book industry supply chain, GPG-Solutions released in February 2005, a new specialized software dedicated to publishers and suppliers named EXA Editor. This software allows easy production and validation of ONIX xml files. An ONIX file is the international standard for representing and communicating book industry product information in electronic form allowing file exchange between organizations (B2B).
EXA Editor is absolutely free and bilingual (English and French interface). Made with .NET 2.0, this software uses the following technologies: XML, XSD, XSLT and Web Services.
Since its first release, EXA Editor is now the preferred ONIX Canadian software and we count more than 400 satisfied users from cost to cost. EXA Editor is certified by BookNet Canada and BTLF:

For "Office Québec Wallonie Bruxelles pour la jeunesse (OQWBJ) GPG-Solutions created in march 2007 a website to register projects and candidates as well as an online survey system. Data are collected online and store on our servers than synchronized to OQWBJ premises using Web Services. Real nice technologies integration:
- Forms and Survey in ASP.NET 2.0 with AJAX components.
- MS-SQL 2000Data repository.
- Web Services server with ASMX NET 2.0.
- 4D specialized client-server application (Mac et PC) located in OQWBJ premises with automated synchronization mechanism avec mécanisme de synchronisation via web service.
The same system was also successfully implemented for "Office Franco Québécois pour la Jeunesse" (OFQJ) at Montreal and Paris.

To make projects, activities, support and billing follow-up easier, GPG-Solutions has appointed a part of the team to realize and implant a new sophisticated management system totally realized in .NET 2.0. The new system was realized in 3 months and put in production on June 2007. We put in it the same care as the developed systems for our customers: third party architecture, SQL 2005 database, DevExpress presentation layer, Web Services and mobile technologies was counted in the deployed technologies. Result: an evolutionary application, effective and reliable wich allow to rest our project officers and programmers, to increase the quality of our service to the customers and to collect essential data for good functioning of the company.

Pneus Unimax, the purchase group behind UNIPNEU banner, is the biggest retailers of tires network in Quebec. At summer 2007, Pneus Unimax entrusted to GPG-Solutions the mandate to realize her transactional B2B site allowing to his trader members to:
- Search products and verify their availability;
- Make orders of tires;
- Search, show and print current orders;
- Search, show and print invoices history;
- Consult the price list.
The system was completely realized in ASP.NET 2.0 and exploit AJAX components. From the beginning, we were confronted with a particular constraint. We had to make a brand new Web from an existing MS-SQL database and respect his architecture without changing a table or any stored procedure. A big challenge wich we raised easily.
Our vast experience in data integration helps us a lot in this project. We realized a data layer communicating directly with stored procedures already in place, then a business rules layer corresponding with new specifications of the customer. A presentation layer realized in ASP.NET with Telerik and DevXpress components concluded the project. The system was put in operation with sucess in december 2007.

A new educational service for SEIRA: GPG-Solutions just completed revision and maintenance of a new educational service for SEIRA. This service allows users to produce hard copy sets of parallel-form vocabulary tests from domains of vocabulary items (term and meaning pairs) which are entered or uploaded by the user. When these tests are consistently used as fluency based indicators of student proficiency with the critical vocabulary students are expected to know and use within a given subject and grade level, they can provide valuable feedback for both teachers and students regarding instructional focus and practice priorities. Teachers of students who are in 3rd grade and beyond, including post secondary, are the target users of this service. The goal is to support a consistent and efficient means of monitoring student vocabulary learning trends across subject areas and grade levels, and thus to ultimately help ensure all students become proficient with the critical vocabulary which represents the most important foundation concepts in all core academic courses. While vocabulary proficiency per se of cou rse by no means ensures comprehension of course content, it clearly is an enabling ability--limitations of which clealry exacerbate if not cause comprehension and written expression problems.
